Chaucer's Canterbury

13 February 2019

February is a quiet month for guiding, so an ideal opportunity for a spot of CPD (Continuous Professional Development). Wednesday 13th saw 20 Canterbury Guides delve into the details of the life and times of Geoffrey Chaucer, who wrote 'The Canterbury Tales'. Jenny Watson-Bore, our literature specialist, gave an authoritative lecture in - where else? - the Chaucer Room of the ABode Hotel, followed by a walk to identify which locations can provide the best focus for one of our literary tours.

Why not take a look at our Special Interest Tours for more information about our themed walks.
